Privacy Policy

Spookr is operated by Spookr (“Spookr,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This policy explains what information is handled when you use the Spookr Discord bot, website, or dashboard.
Information we handle
- Discord sign-in: If you sign in to the dashboard, Discord provides your user ID, username, and avatar, plus the servers you belong to and their IDs, names, icons, ownership status, and permission values. We request only the
identifyandguildsOAuth scopes. - Dashboard session: OAuth access and refresh tokens and session data are held in server memory to keep you signed in and retrieve your manageable server list. The session expires after eight hours, on logout, or when the running service restarts. The session cookie is HttpOnly and is not used for advertising.
- Server configuration: Server IDs and the settings you choose, such as channel and role IDs, feature toggles, AutoMod terms, welcome text, and custom command names and responses, are saved in the bot operator’s settings file so the bot can apply them.
- Messages and bot actions: When AutoMod is enabled, Discord message content is checked in memory against that server’s enabled rules. Spookr does not save message contents. If server logs are enabled, Spookr may send a member’s Discord display tag, channel, and event or moderation summary to the log channel selected by that server’s administrators. Deleted-message logs do not contain message text.
- Tickets and music streams: Ticket channels and messages are created in Discord and are subject to Discord’s storage and privacy practices. For voice playback, Spookr temporarily handles the direct HTTPS audio URL selected by a user and streams supported Ogg/Opus audio to the voice channel; the queue is held in memory and cleared when playback ends or the bot restarts. Spookr does not extract audio from music-platform pages or store ticket conversations.
How we use information
We use this information only to sign you in, authorize dashboard access, save and apply server settings, provide the bot features selected by server administrators, and maintain the service. We do not sell personal information or use it for advertising.
Where information is processed and shared
Discord handles OAuth sign-in, server and member information, messages, bot commands, and content sent to Discord channels. The dashboard communicates with Discord’s API using your requested OAuth scopes. Server settings are stored on the server where Spookr is hosted. Hosting or infrastructure providers may process limited technical data as part of operating that server. We do not run analytics or advertising trackers in the website.
Retention and deletion
Dashboard session data is kept in memory for up to eight hours and is cleared on logout or service restart. Server settings remain saved while needed to provide the bot. When Discord notifies Spookr that it has been removed from a server, that server’s saved settings are deleted. You can also request deletion by emailing support@spookr.net. Removing Spookr does not delete messages or tickets already posted in Discord; manage those through Discord.
Your choices and account security
You can log out of the dashboard, remove Spookr from a server, or revoke its authorization in Discord’s Authorized Apps settings. Server administrators control which bot features are enabled and which channels receive logs. We use access controls for dashboard changes and store the settings file with restricted local file permissions, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Children and regional rights
Use Spookr only if you are permitted to use Discord under Discord’s terms and applicable law. If you have a privacy request or question about rights available where you live, contact us and we will respond as required by applicable law.
